Hole No.17, which is a "Par 4," has had many a
perfect drive spoiled by the two huge oak trees located in the center of the
fairway. Drive the ball to the flat area on the right side of the fairway which
is some 150 yards from the green. From this position, your "opening to the
green" is much easier to negotiate whether you choose to hit around or over
these trees. The green slopes "back to front" so it is always prudent to be
short of the hole. |
