If you are playing Hole No. 9 from the back
tees at 625 yards, then you are playing one of the longest Par 5's
in Texas. Stay "to the right" on your tee shot because the trees on the
left will "block" any attempt to hit around the "dog-leg left" on your
second shot. (Note that the "out-of-bound" stakes bordering the left of the
fairway are for your tee shot only.) To ensure par, play to the center
of the green to avoid the trees protecting the green on both sides. |
